Let Your Voice Be Heard, Contact Your Legislators

Severely restrictive gun-control legislation has been introduced throughout the country. Firearms owners are turning out by the thousands at state hearings, but just as important is letting your legislators know by letter or phone call that these proposed bills are unwarranted and an assault on your Second Amendment rights.

Call or write your federal and state legislators and urge them to protect your right to own and use the firearms of your choice for personal protection, target shooting and hunting.

Support Hunting, Fishing and Recreational Shooting Protection Act (H.R. 322)

Representative Jeff Miller (R, FL-1) has once again introduced the Hunting, Fishing and Recreational Shooting Protection Act. This bill would amend the Toxic Substances Control Act to clarify the original intent of Congress to exclude traditional ammunition -- ammunition containing lead components -- from regulation by the EPA.

This is important because of ongoing threats by anti-hunting and anti-fishing groups who are seeking to misuse existing EPA regulations as a means of banning traditional ammunition and fishing tackle.
