All Recent Headlines Support Hunting, Fishing and Recreational Shooting Protection Act (H.R. 322)Representative Jeff Miller (R, FL-1) has once again introduced the Hunting, Fishing and Recreational Shooting Protection Act. This bill would amend the Toxic Substances Control Act to clarify the original intent of Congress to exclude traditional ammunition -- ammunition containing lead components -- from regulation by the EPA. This is important because of ongoing threats by anti-hunting and anti-fishing groups who are seeking to misuse existing EPA regulations as a means of banning traditional ammunition and fishing tackle.
