Junior USA Shooting Team Patch Program

Official Rules

All shooting, including practice, must be done under adult supervision and in accordance with the rules of firearms safety.

Under adult supervision and using the official bull's-eye target, shoot a total of five (5) shots. You must obtain a minimum of 35 points to qualify for a patch. Download the target, photocopy and use practice until a qualifying score is achieved.

Shooting can be done from any established position; benchrest, prone, kneeling, sitting or offhand. Be sure everyone on or near the firing line is wearing eye and ear protection.

If you are shooting a BB gun: set your target out 15 feet from the firing line.

If you are shooting an air gun: set your target out 33 feet from the firing line.

If you are shooting a .22 rifle: set your target out 50 feet from the firing line.

Have the supervising adult score and sign your target.
