Voting Membership

Voting members shall be corporations, organizations, associations, clubs or partnerships who, in the judgment of the NSSF Board of Governors, will further the objectives of the Foundation in the promotion of the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, whose applications for membership are approved by the NSSF Board and that agree to pay voting membership dues as established by the Board.

Supporting Membership

Membership for individuals, corporations, organizations, associations, clubs or partnerships who will further the objectives of the Foundation in the promotion of the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry and that agree to pay supporting membership dues as established by the NSSF Board of Governors. Supporting members shall have no voting rights or privileges.

Non-Profit Membership

Non-profit association membership includes non-profit associations that have an interest in the shooting sports. Excluding shooting ranges.

Shooting Range/Firearms Retailer Membership

Membership for firearm retailers, shooting range developers, not-for-profit shooting ranges and/or for-profit shooting ranges that support the efforts of NSSF.

Individual Membership

The Individual NSSF membership application is temporarily unavailable.

We are in the process of making changes to this membership category and we thank you for your patience. We expect to have our reevaluation complete on or before May 1, 2012.

Media Membership

An individual that is a member of a writers group or employee of a publication. Individual memberships shall be in the name of and belong to the individual. Individual memberships are not transferable to third parties, including a company or organization that the individual may own or by which the individual may be employed.
