25 scholarships will be awarded

* 1 Grand Prize - $8,000

* 1 First Prize - $5,000

* 1 Second Prize - $3,000

* 22 Runners-Up - $2,000 each

Compose an essay on either of the following topics:

• Discuss how being a target shooter
  or hunter has positively influenced
  your life and taught you about
  responsibility, firearm safety,
  community and other important
  values.

• Discuss why safely handling and
  storing firearms benefits gun
  owners, their families and the
  community at large.
