NSSF ISSUES CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS FOR
SHOT SHOW UNIVERSITY AND RETAILER SEMINARS

The National Shooting Sports Foundation has issued a call for presentations for SHOT Show University and the Retailer Education seminars held at the 2016 NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

About the events:

SHOT Show University will take place Monday, Jan. 18 and is the premier education event for the firearms retailer. This day-long session features both key note addresses and breakout sessions that cover all facets of retail operation from leadership, to business operations, compliance topics and retailing best practices.

The Retailer Education Seminars take place during the week of SHOT Show, Tuesday, Jan. 19 through Thursday, Jan. 21, and run the gamut of topics that relate to the firearms industry. Topics in the past have included increasing the diversity of your customer base, selling used firearms, NFA compliance, tips on buying practices, establishing a compliance regimen, to understanding your profit and lost statement.

Audience:

Those attending the NSSF SHOT Show University and Retailer Education Seminars are largely independent firearms retailers that run from startup businesses to multi-chain, multi-generational store owners.

Presentations during SHOT Show University can either be a keynote address (from 60-90 minutes) or a breakout session (60 minutes).  Retailer Education seminars held during the week of SHOT Show will be 60 minutes long.  Meeting time and space is a limiting factor, and we may not be able to accept all presentations submitted.
