NSSF Staff Pitches in for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the NSSF staff pitched in to raise more than $3,200 for three different charities through personal contributions. Staff members were able to wear jeans to the office for the month for contributing. Others “went the extra mile” and participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Hartford on Oct. 28. Staff participated in honor of family, friends, loved ones, and co-workers whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. Organizations benefitting from the NSSF staff’s support include The Scotty Fund, the Breast Cancer Alliance of Greenwich and the American Cancer Society.
