To donate online visit https://projectchildsafe.org/donate/ or send a check made out to Project ChildSafe Foundation, 6 Corporate Drive, Suite 650, Shelton, CT 06484. No donation necessary. To enter without making donation, mail entry to Project ChildSafe Foundation, 6 Corporate Drive, Suite 650, Shelton, CT 06484, Att: “Safety Sweepstakes.” Project ChildSafe Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charity that supports NSSF’s Project ChildSafe firearm safety program. Entries must be received by January 31, 2025.
Project ChildSafe® Safety Sweepstakes. Official Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID IN NEW YORK, FLORIDA, AND OUTSIDE OF THE REMAINING UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND OTHER RESTRICTIONS ESTABLISHED BY SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Sweepstakes Sponsor and Administrator:  The Project ChildSafe Safety Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by the Project ChildSafe Foundation (“Sponsor”), 6 Corporate Drive, Suite 650, Shelton, CT 06484. Prizes are provided by: National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc., Vault Pro, Swarovski, OpticsPlanet, Sig Sauer, Hornady, and Pack’n Heat (“Prize Sponsors”). Eligibility:  The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older at time of entry legally residing in the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia). Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Administrator and Prize Sponsors, family members of these individuals and persons living in their same households are not eligible to enter or win. Firearms awarded as prizes will be distributed through licensed dealers and only in compliance with federal and state laws and applicable local ordinances. If a winner is ineligible to receive a prize under relevant state, federal or local laws and regulations, the prize will be forfeited and no substitution will be provided. Sweepstakes Period:  12:00 am (ET) on September 16, 2024, to 8:00 pm (ET) on January 31, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). All mailed entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2025.

How to Enter:

  1. To Make a donation:
    • Enter the Sweepstakes by donating the amount necessary to win the prize. Entrants will receive one (1) entry at the prize level in which they donate. Please note, donating at the higher amount does not make you eligible for any prizes below that level (e.g., a donation of $35 does not get you an entry to win the $15 and $35 prize, only an entry to win the $35 prize).
    • All donations between $15.00 and $34.99 will receive one entry to win a Project ChildSafe® 25th Anniversary Six-Cube Ice Tray
    • All donations between $35.00 and $74.99 will receive one entry to win a Hornady SnapSafe® GlideVault safe
    • All donations between $75.00 and $124.99 will receive one entry to win a Pack’n Heat ‘Style & Safety’ bundle
    • All donations between 125.00 to $174.99 will receive one entry to win a Franchi Affinity 3 Turkey 20g shotgun
    • All donations between $175.00 and $224.99 will receive one entry to win a ROSE by Sig Sauer Model P365-XL Comp Kit
    • All donations between $225.00 and $274.99 will receive one entry to win a Winchester M70 Extreme Hunter Strata 6.5 Creedmoor rifle
    • All donations between $275.00 and $324.99 will receive one entry to win an OpticsPlanet ‘AR’ bundle
    • All donations between $325.00 and $399.99 will receive one entry to win a Swarovski 10 x 42 EL Range binocular/rangefinder

  2. To Enter for Free:
    • Mail entry containing your name, mailing address and email address to Project ChildSafe Foundation, 6 Corporate Drive, Suite 650, Shelton, CT 06484, Att: “Safety Sweepstakes,” and indicate which item you wish to be eligible for. Like donation entries, entrants can only be eligible for one prize drawing.

All valid entries are weighted equally and receive one (1) entry to the Sweepstakes at one prize level.  Entrants must provide a valid email address at the time of entry. All entries become the property of Sponsor and shall not be returned. Taxes & Expenses Associated with Prize Acceptance; No Prize Substitution:  Prize winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state and local taxes, including income taxes, and all expenses or fees associated with prize acceptance, receipt and use. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prizes except by Sponsor who may substitute prizes as necessary. All prizes and prize details are at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winners will be issued an IRS form 1099 for the value of his/her prize as necessary. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning a Prize depend on, among other variables, the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Winner Notification: The Prize Drawing held during the Sweepstakes Period will be conducted at Administrator’s headquarters and all winners will be notified via their email address they provide at time of entry. Winners need not be present at any drawing. Return of any prize, or prize notification, as undeliverable, the inability of Administrator to contact a winner based on contact information provided, the failure of a potential winner to claim and make arrangements for delivery of a prize within seven (7) calendar days of first notification attempt, or potential winner ineligibility, will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected at the Administrator’s sole discretion. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Firearms awarded as prizes will be distributed through licensed dealers and only in compliance with federal and state laws and applicable local ordinances. If a winner is ineligible to receive a prize under relevant state, federal or local laws and regulations the prize will be forfeited, and no substitution will be provided. Winners may be required to provide additional information or documentation to prove Sweepstakes eligibility, including without limitation, proof of identity, age and US residency. Sponsor reserves the right to accept or deny awarding prizes based on information or documentation submitted or the failure to submit required information or documentation. Sponsor may disqualify a Sweepstakes winner immediately upon learning the winner has responded with or submitted false information or documentation. Privacy: Entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes consent to the transfer of the personal information collected from the entrant to the Administrator and Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes, and for such other purposes to which entrant may consent as outlined herein or on the Sweepstakes website. All information submitted as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with the privacy policy of the Sponsor located at https://www.nssf.org/privacy/.  More specifically, Sponsor may collect information that you provide to enter the Sweepstakes and will use personal information you provide to enter the Sweepstakes to actually conduct the Sweepstakes. Sponsor will provide the personal information you provide to enter this Sweepstakes to third-party fulfillment companies only to administer the Sweepstakes and deliver prizes to winners. General Terms & Conditions:  By entering Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, Prize Sponsors (NSSF, Vault Pro, Swarovski, OpticsPlanet, Sig Sauer, Pack’n Heat and Hornady) and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and other representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, losses or liabilities of any kind (including attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from or relating to the administration or operation of the Sweepstakes or any errors in materials related thereto; entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes; use or distribution of entrant’s Sweepstakes entry submission; use and exploitation of entrant’s name, image, likeness or information submitted to participate in the Sweepstakes for advertising and/or promotion purposes, in any medium, without notice or additional compensation, in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law; entrant’s acceptance or use of a prize; or any claims based on rights of privacy, rights of publicity, and/or other personal or proprietary right. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or terminate all or part of the Sweepstakes at any time for any reason, and, in such event, to award prizes based on eligible submissions received prior to any such action, or not award prizes at all. The Released Parties shall not be responsible or liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible or postage-due submissions or other correspondence; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) Third party privacy settings precluding entry; or (v) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Released Parties that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or downloading any materials related thereto. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found tampering with or disrupting the operation or administration of the Sweepstakes. Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes shall be brought exclusively in a state or federal court located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, selected by Sponsor applying the laws of the State of Connecticut without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law thereunder that would require or permit the application of any other laws. Sweepstakes entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts, agree to accept service of process electronically (e.g., via e-mail) or certified or registered mail, and specifically waive any jurisdictional or venue defenses otherwise available to them. Winner’s List:  Following the Sweepstakes Period, the names of all confirmed and validated winners may be obtained until May 31, 2025, by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Project ChildSafe Foundation (“Sponsor”), “Safety Sweepstakes,” 6 Corporate Drive, Suite 650, Shelton, CT 06484. Vermont residents may omit return postage. Use of Information:  By entering Sweepstakes, information about entrants will be captured by Sponsor and Prize Sponsor. The information captured includes entrants’ names, mailing addresses, email address and other information provided by entrants at time of entry or at the time of prize redemption. This information may be retained and used by Sponsor for any business purpose, including, without limitation, mailing lists for future contacts, advertising or promotional purposes, and/or shared by Sponsor with third parties.  Entrants may be contacted by Sponsor and other parties with future promotional offers about their products and/or services. Change to Official Rules:  Sponsor reserves the right to make changes to these Official Rules at any time and for any reason without notice.
